On behalf of the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS), it is my privilege to extend warm congratulations to Children’s Thalassaemia Foundation on the momentous occasion of your 30th anniversary.

Three decades of unwavering service and support for the thalassaemia community are truly inspiring. Your commitment has made a meaningful impact in the lives of many, and this milestone serves as a testament to all the love and care, and dedication of your members over the years. Congratulations on building such a strong foundation over the past 30 years.

BTS has been honored to work with the Foundation from the beginning towards the shared mission of providing suitable blood supply for thalassaemia patients requiring regular blood transfusion. As you know, the core mission of BTS is providing a safe, quality and reliable blood transfusion service for all patients in Hong Kong. We adhere to the highest international standards in all aspects of blood collection, testing, processing and distribution to ensure the safety and suitability of our blood supply to meet our patients’ need. It is our privilege to serve the thalassaemia community through our continued dedication to this mission.
